DOMAINE DE LA BOUVERIE

Laura and Julio are undoubtedly one of the couples who touched us the most—simple, pure, and genuine. After spending an entire day with them, capturing moments from their daily life, laughing, and sharing, we were honored to document their wedding day at Domaine de la Bouverie through both photo and video. What we do is « just » creating images, but more than that, it’s about capturing the deep connection between two people. Illustrating this kind of chemistry can be challenging, but they trusted us, opened up to us, and the result is as true to them as it gets in this wedding film!

THIS WILD RIDE

Domaine du Grand Lauron

For this Anglo-Lebanese wedding, the Domaine du Grand Lauron provided an exceptional setting for Lara and Jules, their friends, and their families. Our wedding video edit first focuses on the heartfelt speeches from their loved ones.

Since the bride and groom’s speeches followed the exact same structure (without them coordinating!), it was only natural to build the core of this film around the three promises Lara and Jules made to each other during their stunning outdoor ceremony in the estate’s garden, bathed in the golden light of the South of France.

After tenderness, emotion, and laughter, the film concludes with a rock’n’roll-style party with a distinctly British flair! A perfect balance to relive this unforgettable day and showcase their love!

GOTTA MAKE IT MINE

Domaine du Mont Leuze

Off to Domaine du Mont Leuze in Villefranche-sur-Mer, overlooking the entire Bay of Nice, for a wedding full of energy and life! A heartfelt speech from the bride’s father became the guiding thread for this wedding film’s editing.

It was a true marathon of a day, filled with surprises from their loved ones—a ceremony in the stunning Sainte-Réparate Cathedral in Nice, a courtroom-style skit, a radio show with multiple testimonials, a piñata that ended up being punched open… their friends and family went all out to create unforgettable moments for them! We know an event is a success when even we, as vendors, get chills… and this one certainly gave us some!

THE DANCING WAVE

Hyatt Regency Palais de la Méditerranée

Laura, of Franco-Lao descent, and Nils, of Franco-Swedish descent, shook up the Côte d’Azur with their wedding at the Hyatt Regency Palais de la Méditerranée in Nice. A (very) sunny day, a traditional ceremony at Hôtel Saint-Paul, and a celebration filled with laughter, dancing, and contagious joy.

Being a cinema enthusiast, Nils asked us for a unique approach to their wedding video: character introduction animations in the style of Guy Ritchie films (Sherlock Holmes, Rock’n’Rolla). We jumped at the chance to craft a distinctive, alternative wedding film for this Franco-Swedish-Lao couple—starting with rock, blending in tradition and spirituality, and finishing with an explosive club-style finale. A refreshing change of pace, don’t you think?

NEVER RIDING SOLO

Ultimate Provence

Evelyne and Philip, a couple living in Paris, entrusted The Birdies to capture their wedding in both photo and video at Ultimate Provence, a stunning vineyard hotel surrounded by the iconic Provençal landscape. The radiant joy of the day was infectious, and that’s exactly what we aimed to convey in our images.

They gave us complete creative freedom throughout the day, allowing us to capture authentic, unscripted moments—despite an incredibly tight schedule, including a mere two minutes to shoot their couple session just before the golden hour disappeared!

TO ONE WEEK AND BEYOND

PROVENCE

As wedding videographers, we are privileged to document joyful moments of family connection. But when a close parent is no longer there to witness this happiness, it can be challenging to find the right way to honor their presence in the film.

In this case, the emotional weight of their absence was deeply felt in the speeches, making it clear that the wedding film should open with this recent loss. By doing so, the emotions became even more powerful, leading to a heartfelt contrast with speeches filled with humor and kindness toward the newlyweds. The choice of music then became obvious—celebrating life and love in a feel-good wedding film!

LET ME STEAL THIS MOMENT

Château de Brégançon

On this warm summer day, vibrant bougainvillea flowers were a constant presence—first at Saint Trophyme Church in the charming southern village of Bormes-les-Mimosas, and later adorning the walls of the reception venue, Château de Brégançon. Bathed in golden sunlight (and plenty of heat), this breathtaking seaside estate set the stage for Maureen and Maxime’s wedding.

Their wedding video highlights the beauty of this stunning venue and plays on a sense of mystery—that indescribable feeling of something greater than us. The speech from the maid of honor was the catalyst for this artistic approach, elevated by slow-motion sequences to create the cinematic aesthetic we love so much!
